Description

First of all Peg Board is a traditional board commonly used for wall covering and levelling of shop walls. It gives a clean smooth surface with holes which allows you to apply various pegs of your choice. One face is smooth while the other is textured to give grip on the surface. However a ring shanked nail or staple will still be required. Available in 3mm thickness 2 specific sizes of 1220x610mm and 2440x1220mm. Peg Board is manufactured from fine wood fibres. Furthermore making it cost effective and can be used for various applications.

Application
Peg Board can be used for a variety of functions. But is mainly used in conjunction with metal pegs for hanging shop goods etc. Hardboard has one smooth and one coarse side. The coarse side is used faced down to give extra grip on the surface although it does need be nailed down for permanent fixtures. Hardboard is only 3mm thick which makes it very easy to work with using conventional woodworking tools. It also offers flexibility due to its thin profile. Further making it suitable for projects where you might need slight flexibility. Finally the face of the board is coloured in brown. Which ensures it can be painted or covered over with vinyl, wood flooring and other products.
