How to use Kurust
First of all rust or corrosion damages metal surfaces and leave dirty, brown spots. In fact, Hammerite helps you get rid of rust and revive your metal objects. Finally, follow the guide below if you want to know how to remove rust.
- First clean the surface by removing all loose paint and rust, dirt, grease, and salt.
- Second, rinse with clean water and allow time to dry.
- Third, shake the container well and pour the required amount into a plastic container.
- Fourth, use a brush accordingly, apply directly to the rusty area, working well into heavily pitted areas, corners and edges.
- However, avoid coating onto painted areas.
- Equally important, Kurust will turn blue/black when reacting with rust.
- On the other hand, if it does not change color in 1-hour re-apply.
- Finally, apply the topcoat after 3 hours.
- Do not replace unused Kurust back into the original container.
- Clean container with water.
